“Howlin’ Belle” is an incredibly punchy track from some noisy bastards from down in Melbourne called The Peep Tempel. Everyone seems quite comfortable to put it in the garage or rock n roll genres and it certainly tips it’s hat in that direction but I’m more comfortable with disco punk myself. Such a tightly packed song to get everything into 3 minutes 23 seconds. Already getting some radio play from the right people, if The Peep Tempel can back up a quality cut like “Howlin’ Belle” with a solid overall release due out Feb 2012, next year will be a very very good year for these lads.
Their other featured track “Lance” is also worth a listen.

P.s I know the brick wall to people ratio in this photo is disproportionate but I’m not apologising.
